Our First Blog...

The Kruses are now offically part of the modern communication era. I've been wanting to get this started for just about 4 months now. (That's how old Alex is...) Our friends, the Chalmers, introduced us to this site. They've been using it for a while now. You don't realize how long it has been since we've seen each other until you get an email that reminds you of it! So, now that Alex Matthew is here in the flesh, we've decided to try and keep in touch with all of you that we care for and are thankful for having in our lives.

I'm sure through some avenue or another you all know about Mr. Alex. His birthday is May 25th. That makes him just shy of 4 months old. He is an amazing kid! Baby is probably a closer term, but the boy is very strong and his little personality is already showing. His family spoils him greatly and he doesn't lack any loving that is for sure.

Alex was brought right into the craziness that is the Kruse way of life. Always on the go and always something to do!

We traveled to Mullen to visit with Grandpa Don and Grandma Jane.

We went to Randolph to be with Aunt Tiffy for her wedding. (Because he hasn't perfected walking just yet he was named "honorary" ring bearer!)

We went to the lake with our friends the Faltys.

We even experienced camping with Nana, Papa, Uncle D, Aunt Tiff and Uncle Brian.

Now that the greatest time of year has started, it includes Husker Football. Alex experienced his first Husker Saturday a couple weeks ago. The big red was in Lincoln for the first game of the season against Nevada. He was pretty excited! (His dad was too.)

And that was only a few highlights of the summer activities! As I mentioned, we're entering our favorite time of year. (At least it's Chad's) There'll be pumpkins and falling leaves. It means cool, crisp football weather. Maybe even a touch of frost!
Here is a collage of pictures over the past few months. Enjoy!

Summer Fun!

Well, I think we'll sign off and close this blog as the first of many to come. We can't wait to see all of you soon! We miss you Derek! Stay Strong!

Take care and God Bless Everyone.
